Street Cleaning:

• Spring cleanup of wintertime road and residential debris

• Summertime green waste stone and dirt. Autumn green waste and leaves

• Sweep and flush city streets

• General Snowplowing and salting of city streets  

• Street maintenance- pothole patching

• Lawn repairs, if damaged by city vehicles

• Residential complaints

• Demolition of city owned and unsafe buildings

• Placing and removing of voting machines

• Assist Recreation/Ball fields and Parks

• Sewer repairs/ catch basins and city mains

• Maintenance of city's main sewer lines

• Assist residents with lateral-line minor cleanouts

• Maintenance of DPW fleet/City hall vehicles/Repairs and preventive maintenance

Office functions:

• Payroll preparation, processing requisitions and purchase orders, compensation and accident reports, account maintenance and transfers, legal notices from Corp. Counsel, correspondence, file maintenance and record keeping, answering residents inquiries and complaints, ordering supplies and road salt.

Maintenance of physical plant/all custodial duties:
