The City of Utica is pleased to announce that it will operate new after school programming in just a few short weeks
Utica was able to take advantage of many incentives for the projects including National Grid incentives, NYSERDA incentives, and grant funding.
"Pieces of heART" is dedicated to providing a supportive and inclusive environment where individuals of all abilities can explore their artistic talents and share their voices.
The City is slated to receive $2,402,334 in CDBG funding for the current program year that started on April 1, 2024 and runs through March 31, 2025.
The City has been awarded $4,613,276 to develop and construct improvements to the western end of Broad Street that will improve conditions for numerous modes of transportation, including pedestrians, cyclists and motorists.
The pickleball courts at the Parkway Recreation Center located at 220 Memorial Parkway have been finished and are now open and ready for use.
Since February 15th, the City of Utica has taken in 33 dogs.
Details of the contract include $150,000 and a commitment to several adoption and education events throughout the year.

Starting June 1, 2024, the lights at City Hall and the Utica Place Garage will glow with the colors of the Pride Flag in honor of Pride Month.
