Exemption Filing Deadline: March 1st. The last day for filing all exemption applications.  All applications for property exemptions must be filed with assessor by this date.

Taxable Status/Valuation Date: July 1st of the prior year. The ownership and physical condition of real property as of this date are assessed (valued) as of this date.

Tentative Assessment Roll: May 1st. The assessor completes, certifies and files a roll containing proposed assessed values for each property in the assessing unit.

Grievance Day: May 23rd, 2023. Times: 9am to noon, 1pm to 4, and 5pm to 7pm. Board of Assessment Review meets to hear assessment complaints. This is the last day property owners may file a formal complaint seeking reduction in their tentative assessments.

Final Assessment Roll: July 1st. The assessor signs and files a roll that contains the final assessments, including all changes made by the Board of Assessment review.
