Utica, NY — Mayor Galime announced today that effective Monday, November 10, 2025, Sean T. Moore will be appointed as the new Chief of Staff for the City of Utica.

Mr. Moore holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in History from The Ohio State University. He brings a strong background in government and public service, having held various positions within the U.S. House of Representatives. His experience includes an internship with Ohio State Representative Tom Young (District 37), service with Congressman Marcus Molinaro (NY-19), and most recently, his role as Constituent Liaison in the office of Congresswoman Elise Stefanik (NY-21).

Mayor Galime expressed his appreciation to Michael Gentile for his dedicated service to the City of Utica over the past two years.
