City of Utica and MVCC Announce Collaborative “Experience UTICA 2025 Logo Collection” Project

The City of Utica is pleased to announce a collaborative creative initiative with Mohawk Valley Community College (MVCC) for the development of the Experience UTICA 2025 Logo Collection, an innovative project showcasing student design talent and strengthening city–college partnerships.

A formal press conference will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. at MVCC’s Academic Building, Room 275.

Mayor Michael Galime will join Todd Behrendt, Dean of the MVCC School of Art, and Scott Selden, MVCC Associate Professor and Creative Director, to unveil the project and discuss its significance for the community. The initiative features the work of Graphic Design students within MVCC’s School of Art, who have partnered with the City of Utica to create a collection of logos inspired by the city’s culture, identity, and vision for 2025.
