MAYOR PALMIERI ANNOUNCES EXPRESS EMPLOYMENT PROFESSIONALS GRAND OPENING IN LANDMARC BUILDING

Express Employment Professionals set to open operations in Downtown Utica

Utica, NY – Express Employment Professionals Owner and President John Calabrese along with Utica Mayor Robert Palmieri announced that the full service staffing firm is set to begin operations in the newly renovated Landmarc Building on Seneca Street in downtown Utica on June 15, 2015.

Express signed an agreement for a 2,800 square feet space to house their Headquarters on the ground floor of the newly restored former HSBC building back in November 2015. The building, owned by Michael and Francis Pezzolanella, will be completed by summer 2015 and will also house office space, loft style apartments and a rooftop restaurant.

John Calabrese stated, “This has been a tremendous project and we are very proud to be part of the Downtown revitalization. Mayor Palmieri and the Pezzolanella’s have been great partners and we are very grateful to them. Our location in Downtown Utica will provide our firm with enhanced space and capabilities to better serve our clients. Our mission will always be to help our business clients find the quality workers that they need and help good people in our Region find the jobs that they are looking for, all while demonstrating a deep commitment to our community. This new location is in Utica aligned perfectly to our mission”

It is remarkable to think that a few years ago there will talks of this building being demolished. This revitalization highlights our progress and how far Utica has come in the past three years.”
