MAYOR PALMIERI ANNOUNCES EXPRESS EMPLOYMENT PROFESSIONALS TO OPEN LOCATION IN DOWNTOWN UTICA

 Landmarc Building signs Express Employment Professionals as tenant

 Utica, NY – Express Employment Professionals Owner and President John Calabrese along with Utica Mayor Robert Palmieri announced that the full service staffing firm will be opening a new location at the newly renovated Landmarc Building on Seneca Street in downtown Utica, the second tenant to announce the Landmarc Building as their new home this month.

Express will be leasing 2,800 square feet on the ground floor of the newly restored former HSBC building. The building, owned by Michael and Francis Pezzolanella, will be completed by summer 2015 and will also house office space, loft style apartments and a rooftop restaurant.

“There is resurgence in Utica and we are proud to be a part of it as a locally owned and operated company. We are very excited about the future of our region and the opportunities that our new location in Downtown Utica will provide. This location, in addition to our office in New Hartford, will give us the ability to expand and enhance our capabilities to better serve our clients” Calabrese said.

“Our City is experiencing a great revival and it is because of local business owners like John Calabrese believing in Utica’s potential,” Mayor Robert Palmieri said. “To have two tenants in the past month announce they’re setting up shop in a downtown building that many people believed needed to be demolished is remarkable and highlights how far our City has come in the past three years.”
