MAYOR PALMIERI ANNOUNCES SHARED SERVICES FOR UPCOMING DEMOLITION PROJECTS

Mayor Robert Palmieri today announced the City of Utica’s Department of Public Works (DPW) will undergo two demolition projects in Waterville and New Hartford as part of a shared services agreement.

The demolition projects are tentatively scheduled as follows;  

• March 29^th- Demolition of 1659 State Rt. 315 (Waterville)

• April 5^th – Demolition of 3535 Bleachery Avenue (New Hartford)

These dates are subject to change due to weather conditions.  The city advocates for shared services between municipalities as it saves money for tax payers and enhances efficiency. 

Mayor Palmieri stated, “I’m pleased to announce the City of Utica’s DPW can help our neighbors in New Hartford and Waterville.  These examples of collaboration and shared services are a result of building relationships and partnerships.”
