MAYOR PALMIERI TO CONDUCT QUALITY OF LIFE SWEEP

Utica Mayor Robert Palmieri will be conducting his first quality of Quality of Life Sweep of 2020 today, Wednesday, July 29th.

The sweep will begin at noon at the intersection of Genesee and Hopper Streets and proceed east on Hopper.

Since he took office in 2012, Mayor Palmieri and his department heads have conducted 263 Quality of Life Sweeps and covered over 900 miles throughout the City.

The Quality of Life Sweeps occur every Wednesday in the months of April through December (weather permitting).

The mission of the Sweeps has been consistent; to address quality of life issues throughout Utica and to keep neighborhoods clean and safe.

All Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as well as New York State Department of Health (NYS DOH) guidelines will be followed.
