CITY OF UTICA ANNOUNCES DATE FOR GREEN WASTE

     PICK-UP

The City of Utica’s Department of Public Works announces that the Annual Spring Green Waste Pick-Up will officially begin on April 16^th. 

Starting Monday, April 16^th, residents can place containerized green waste out for collection.  Containers must weigh less than 50lbs.

All grass clippings, leaves, flowers, weeds, etc. must be containerized. Branches and limbs must be no longer than 4’ in length and placed in bundles weighing under 50 lbs.  Residents may also place branches/limbs in a container weighing less than 50lbs.

Items such as shrubs, stumps, logs and trees are not allowed.  If residents have these large green waste items they can call Oneida-Herkimer Solid Waste Authority at 315-731-0238 to schedule a pickup (a nominal fee is charged for this service).
