In accordance with the requirements contained in Section 2-29-294 of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Utica, the applicant is seeking approval of a Certificate of Appropriateness in order to install additional signage at the above referenced property.
The applicant received approval in 2019 for a 2’ x 12’ white painted wood sign with black painted lettering. The sign reads “John Paolo’s Xtreme Beauty Institute.” It has four channel posts and is parallel to Genesee Street.
The applicant is proposing to install two additional sign boards. One sign will be 2’ x 12’ and will read “Goldwell Products Artistry (315) 736-2002.” The second proposed sign will be 6’ x 3’ which will read WWW.JohnPaolo.edu.”

In accordance with the requirements contained in Section 2-29-294 of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Utica, the applicant is seeking approval of a Certificate of Appropriateness in order to install signage at the above referenced property.
The applicant is proposing to install one set of 39” x 202” (54.7 sf) individual LED channel letters mounted to a raceway which will read “NOSTRO” and one set of 36” x 144” (36 sf) exposed red neon attached to a clear acrylic panel which will read “restobar + lounge.”

In accordance with the requirements contained in Section 2-29-294 of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Utica, the applicant is seeking approval of a Certificate of Appropriateness in order to make exterior improvements at the above referenced property.
The applicant is proposing to replace the wood cedar shakes with vinyl siding. The upper portion of the structure will be replaced with shake style vinyl siding to replicate the style of the original design.
A grey color design will be utilized and presented at the meeting.
The applicant is also proposing to repair the slate roof and replace the flashing/sheet metal with new black sheet metal.
The front porch will be repaired. The trusses will be wrapped in white aluminum or pvc and the decking will be replaced with trex style decking. The rear porch roof will be extended over the air conditioning units.

In accordance with the requirements contained in Section 2-29-294 of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Utica, the applicant is seeking approval of a Certificate of Appropriateness in order to make exterior improvements at the above referenced property.
The applicant is proposing to remove the existing deteriorated cedar shake siding on the upper portion of the structure and replace it with vinyl shake style siding to replicate the look of the original exterior. The home is mainly brick exterior and will remain intact.

In accordance with the requirements contained in Section 2-29-294 of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Utica, the applicant is seeking approval of a Certificate of Appropriateness in order to replace the roof at the above referenced property.
The applicant is proposing to replace the 20 year old deteriorated shingles with Certainteed Burnt Siena shingles. The applicant stated that two other portions of the structure have previously been replaced with this exact shingle. The entire roof will now match.
