In accordance with the requirements contained in Section 2-29-294 of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Utica, the applicant is seeking approval of a Certificate of Appropriateness in order to install signage at the above referenced property. 

The applicant is proposing to add signage for the restaurant on the exterior of the building.  Two sets of banners will be installed by each entrance on Seneca Street and Lafayette Street.  Existing brackets will be utilized in install the banners.  They will be 96” long and 30” wide and will be made of heavy duty vinyl with satin finish.  They will read Iconic by Chesterfields.  The banners will be black with white and blue lettering.

They are also proposing to install a 7’ diameter circular sign on the Oriskany Street side of the building.  This sign will be a welded aluminum frame, polycarbonate face with black opaque kiss-cut vinyl graphics.
