CITY OF UTICA DECLARES SNOW EMERGENCY

Based on current forecasts, the City of Utica is declaring a Snow Emergency which will go into effect at at 5:00 pm today March 7th, 2018 and will remain in effect until further notice.

All vehicles must be off the streets by 5:00 pm today to facilitate safe passage for snow removal and emergency services. The Snow Emergency applies to all city streets and roadways with no exceptions.

Overnight parking permits are not applicable during a Snow Emergency.

The City urges no unnecessary travel on City streets as we anticipate dangerous road conditions. The City also urges caution as there may be damage to tree limbs and potential power outages due to the anticipated heavy snow.

If anyone requires assistance they should call 911.

Vehicles left on City roads after 5:00 pm are subject to ticketing and towing at the owner’s expense.
