Mayor encourages people to take Firefighter-EMT exam
February 2, 2010 – (Utica, NY) - Utica Mayor David R. Roefaro is encouraging anyone interested in a career as a Firefighter to stop by the City of Utica Personnel Office no later than Wednesday, February 3, 2010 in order to apply for the upcoming entry level Firefighter-EMT examination.
Applicants must be at least nineteen (19) years of age on or before March 6, 2010 in order to apply.
Anyone interested in participating in this examination may pick up announcements and study guides at City Hall, 1 Kennedy Plaza, Utica. Applications will be accepted until 4:30PM on Wednesday, February 3, 2010. Applications postmarked February 3, 2010 will also be accepted.
The City of Utica Personnel office is located on the 2nd floor of City Hall.
