08/23/08 - 'Wizard of Was' gets "Wow" from Mayor
MAYOR: "Two thumbs up" August 23, 2008 – ( Mayor Roefaro said, "I attended the play last night with my wife, and other staff. It was phenomenal. The number of children who took the time to get involved has sent a powerful message to those who attended. For too long, areas like Cornhill have been stereotyped in the wrong light. This play changes that. This play changes a lot of things for those who saw it, and for those who acted in it. Cassandra Harris-Lockwood has done a wonderful job. This play gets two thumbs up. I hope tonight brings even a larger turnout."
