RED CROSS AND THE CITY PARTNER FOR PUBLIC SAFETY DAY

On June 4th from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm the American Red Cross will be partnering with the City of Utica to celebrate the 1st American Red Cross-Public Safety Day. To celebrate CPR/AED Awareness Week, the American Red Cross will be offering free CPR classes to the first 50 people. All others will be offered CPR for a 20% discount. Booths will be set up to highlight CPR awareness for both families and pets. This family -friendly activity will be free and open to the public. Red Cross, police, and fire vehicles will be on display for viewing. Fingerprinting and arts and crafts will be available for children.  All pictures drawn by the children that day will be placed in packages and sent to members in our Armed Forces.  The American Red Cross will also have a portable laptop at the event for anyone who would like to send a message to a loved one currently serving in the Armed Forces.

Food will be provided by Marr-Logg Restaurant and music will be provided by WXUR. All festivities will take place at the Edward A. Hanna Parkway Community Center.
